Relationships are challenging, and sometimes even finding meaning in life can seem overwhelming. Coming into safe connection with others is a balm for many of life’s trials.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT posits that humans are wired for connection, that our problems lie in patterns rather than in individual people, and that humans tend to succeed when given the appropriate love and care.
I also incorporate existentialism into my work. Existentialism is a framework that helps us grapple with meaning in life. Struggling to make sense of our purpose in life can have a real impact on our well-being, so it’s important for us to tend to.
Finally, I seek to offer a therapeutic space that’s rooted in anti-oppression. This lens recognizes that we are all impacted by powerful systems - but not always in the same way. Understanding the impact of these systems on us is important if we want to find liberation and connection.

The best way to get started is to schedule a free 30-minute informational with me so that we can establish if this is a good fit.
Next, we meet together for an 80 minute session called the “intake” session, where we chat about who you are more broadly as well as what is bringing you in for counseling.
At the end of that session, we’ll establish a plan for your care moving forward, including session frequency, session length, and rate.
You will be well on your way to meeting your personal and relationship goals!
